Zac Moretz leads the firm’s Real Estate, Community Associations and Business Law practice group. He is a Certified Specialist in Commercial Real Estate Law by the North Carolina State Bar, one of only 12 in the Charlotte area, and is also a licensed real estate broker in both North and South Carolina. He is a member of the Community Associations Institute and of the Community Associations Subcommittee of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Real Property section.

Zac is former general counsel to a large local developer and has represented the developers or the owners associations of many of the Charlotte area’s highest-profile real estate developments, including Sun City Carolina Lakes, The Palisades, Moss Creek, Afton Village, Harrisburg Town Center, Providence Downs South, Kellswater Bridge, Smithstone, The Williamson Building, Latta Pavilion Condominiums, The Enclave at Timber Ridge, Camden Cotton Mills, Myrtle Beach Corporate Center, Rocky River Crossing, Northampton Place, Welden Village, and Park South Station among many others. Moretz & Skufca’s Community Associations team represents over 250 homeowners’ and condominium associations throughout the Charlotte metro area and throughout North and South Carolina.
